Celery Night Fever will teach your kids about the importance of friendship and forgiveness. VeggieTales has always had a way to teaching kids good moral values, without being too “in your face” about the message. This episode teaches us that we must learn to forgive each other, just as God forgave us. This is a difficult lesson to learn, even for adults. Celery Night Fever shows kids how that concept applies to all of our lives, but all while staying fun and on their level.
The episode opens with Laura Carrot and Junior Asparagus who are trying to reunite the popular band The Groovy Brothers. They hope to reunite this estranged group of musicians in an attempt to host a concert which could save Celery Park from being turned into a parking lot by real-estate tycoon Bruce Onion.Even for kids, making new friends and learning how to be a good friend is difficult. It is not easy to forgive others when they hurt us. They can learn this from VeggieTales in a fun interactive way. Plus, it’s way more fun to learn it from a group of singing vegetables!
We love music at our house, so anything we can sing along to is OK in our book!
