But, we wouldn’t let a little set back like this keep us from grilling out! Here are five of my hubby the grill master’s awesome grilling tips. Even a tiny charcoal grill can give you delicious grilled food – the taste of summertime!
2. Oil the grill. This will keep your food from sticking to the grates.
3. Clean the grill. Do this before you put new food onto the grill. Stuck on food gets charred and gross. This does not taste good on your food. A good grill brush is a must.
4. Foods that cook in less than 30 minutes (steaks, burgers, brats) should be cooked directly over the coals. Foods that cook in more than 30 minutes (bone-in foods like chicken or ribs) should be over indirect heat.
5. Turn the meat only once. The more you turn it the more of the delicious juices you lose. Make sure that you only flip your meat once. You won’t regret it!
